I found a tiny tan loveseat on Thanksgiving day...I couldn't resist thinking of the fun pictures I was going to take for baby Alex laying on it....I bought it thanks to my in-laws b-day gift!...Thanks Barb and Dave!

These cute photos were inspired by the little tan loveseat...so cute, that even Leah Marie couldn't resist possing for me...and that is a huge honor that I don't get very often!

I am proud to present the first pictures of baby Alex, Krystal's son. He is just too cute for words!

Andrea's Faux Bridal Pictures

Today was a very exciting day...I got my new camera, and was able to use the strobe lights for the first time in my own "studio" (the extra bedroom upstairs!)...It is a dream come true to me!!!!

A little bit ago I talked to Andrea to be my model, and today she came for a fun bridal photo shoot!. She is such a sweet and wonderful girl. I have known her since she was 11 years old, and now she is a beautiful woman, and a very loving mom!...Her son's name is Sammie, he is so cute, you will see....I love her, and her family so much. Her mom, and siblings have always brought joy and blessings into my life! You have a special place in my heart and memories!

Andrea is so beautiful...but now look at her son Sammie!!!! He is too cute!

Thank you Andrea for your help, I hope next time you come over I can take more time on handsome Sammie!!!!

This cute little baby boy is Zachary, he is so cute and adorable...He has the sweetest eyes, as you can see in these pictures; and he is calm and peaceful like a little angel.

Zachy is Taty and Chad's son. And he is a very special little person to me and my family. He is my Godson, and my future son in law!!!! (wink-wink!) He has this super sweet and outgoing personality, I love his smile!

It is an honor to see him growing up day by day, I met him when he was inside Taty's belly, and I am lucky to see him often enough that I can enjoy holding him in my arms, and watching him play!

Zachary, we love you so!, you are a miracle to all the ones that love your mommy and daddy!

I have 2 little angels in my life...And now, just now that I am a mom can understand my own. Now I know what "Having children is like letting your heart walk around outside of your body'' really means...I will never have a break from worrying for them, even now that they are little, I know my life have change forever.

Please look at the following picture, and how peaceful and tranquil my little Leah Marie looks, just watching the water...

...well, 2 minutes later she had fallen inside the little fountain and scratched herself!...she is a tough girl though, but she loves adventure and bouncing around!!!!

This is my sweet and calm Lauren, she is a cuddler, and LOVES watching her sister play around.

Lauren is my personal little hero, she came to my live to save me from the feelings that brings a great loss, and gave me the courage to live! She was born with a severe Protein Allergy that really scared us, but now she is doing much better!

Mark, thank you for the camera you bought for me; thank you for believing in me and my artistic abilities once again! (He gave me all his support and encouragement me when I left a structured job for the adventure of having a mural business!) Thank you for our little girls, for your everyday help, for being sweet, and caring, and so, very patient! Thank you for being by my side in the hardest moments of my life. I love you, and I always will!

Starting a new Adventure in my mom's honor!

I must start saying that I am not a writer, this is not even my language, so expect a lot of mistakes and spanglish phrases! I am a professional artist-muralist that loves photography...Loves children, loves people, loves making people happy...and most of all, loves family (the ones that God gave me by blood, and the ones that God gave me by destiny and by choise:my dear friends!)




My mom passed away last year. What I am doing now,-photography- is in her honor. She loved photos. She always said that pictures are a way of stopping time, life stops forever in an image, and when you look at it, you remember the feelings involved at that point of time...You can re-feel the happiness you once felt. That is what I pretend to do, make people happy by looking at this images created with love and artistry...they will make you smile, re-life, re-feel, over and over again. Have you ever look at a photo and it made you smile?, seeing your teenager as a little baby again, looking at your wedding pictures, how young and in love you are in those images that started a whole new chapter of your life, looking at a picture of the ones that you loved so much and are not here anymore....for one second make us transport ourselves to that beautiful moment...that is the magic of photography!

I have many pictures of my mom around the house, and now I feel that if haven't taken those pics of her, I wouldn't be able to re-experience the happiness I felt when I had her by my side...she won't be here with me no more, but I can smile when I see her -in pictures- and feel happy for those moments that are gone, that will never come back, that will never repeat themselves...This blog is for you mom, I know you are watching over me and my family, I love you mamita, forever and ever..This is in your honor Ana Maria Barandiaran Andersen de Ortega, mi mamita.

Now I am a mother, and now I know what is to love the way my mom loved me...My girls make me happy just because they exist!
